Webinar: wind and solar in the reserve markets

Fingrid invites its stakeholders to hear and discuss about the opportunities for wind and solar power in the reserve markets. The event will be held online on Thursday, 15 February 2024 at 9–11.

Previously published Nordic document about participating in the reserve markets with wind and solar will be presented in the webinar. The first presentation will be in English, and the rest of the event is held in Finnish.

The first Finnish presentation includes the experiences from the “Wind power to the reserve markets” pilot project held in 2023. A guideline produced in the pilot project for providing automatic reserves from intermittent generation will be introduced as well.

As the last topic, we will inform about the upcoming changes in the electricity markets.
