Activated reserve

The Frequency Containment Reserve for Normal Operation (FCR-N) activates in the frequency range of 49,9-50,1 Hz. The Frequency Containment Reserve for Disturbances (FCR-D) activates when the frequency is below 49,9 Hz.

The amount of activated FCR-N reserve is calculated based on measured frequency and maintained reserve capacity.

The amount of activated Automatic Frequency Restoration Reserve (aFRR) is calculated based on the activation signal and maintained reserve capacity.
