Failure on Fenno-Skan 1 interconnection
The Fenno-Skan 1 HVDC interconnection between Finland and Sweden tripped from the network at 400 MW import to Finland on Monday 30 June 2014 at 0:12. The connection is out of service until further notice. The inspection of reason of the failure is ongoing at the Swedish end.Fenno-Skan 1 interconnection was taken back to operation 30th June at 20:11 (eet). The reason of the failure was a problem in the tap changer of the transformer in Dannebo.
