Power exchanges Nord Pool Spot and EPEX SPOT enhance their cooperation

Nordic NPS and German-French EPEX strive for a strategic alliance by establishing, as a first step, a Joint Venture for harmonisation and operation of trading systems.
This is expected to facilitate the integration of North-West European electricity markets currently under preparation by the region's power exchanges and transmission system operators.
