Transmission capacity reservations on Fingrid's cross-border connections from Russia for 2006
Fingrid, the Finnish transmission system operator, offers to the electricity market parties electricity transmission capacity through its cross-border connections from Russia. As of the beginning of 2006, a total of 900 megawatts (MW) of transmission capacity will become available on these connections.Transmission reservations for contract periods starting at the beginning of the next year had been submitted to Fingrid by the due date, 11 November 2005, as follows:EGL Nordic AS | 200 MW |

In addition, Fingrid has two transmission contracts in force and extending to 2006 for 300 MW with Fortum Power and Heat Oy and for 100 MW with OstElektra GmbH. Fingrid will confirm the new transmission reservations after it has received an account of corresponding reservations on the transmission connection in Russia from the Russian main grid company.
