Transmission capacity from Russia available 2002

Fingrid Oyj, which is responsible for the national power transmission grid in Finland, offers power transmission service through its cross-border connections from Russia to the electricity market parties. A total of 200 megawatts (MW) of cross-border transmission capacity is released at yearshift for reservation by market parties at equal and uniform transmission and price terms.The transmission reservations can be presented to Fingrid for the agreement periods starting at the beginning of 2002. Binding transmission reservations have to be placed by the end of the October 2001. The agreement periods can range from 1 to 10 years and the smallest unit that can be reserved is 50 MW. The maximum amount of the available capacity is 200 MW.

Fingrid will confirm the transmission reservations after obtaining an account of corresponding transmission reservation from RAO EES Rossii, company responsible for cross-border and main grid transmission in Russia.
