Test use of mobile applications under way at Fingrid construction sites

Fingrid is making progress with the digitalisation of its operations by taking new mobile applications into use at its construction sites.Integround Oy, a specialist in information technology, has cooperated with Fingrid to manufacture applications to improve site occupational safety, project management and local monitoring. The application solution is referred to as T3 reporting. T3 reporting is in test use at four of Fingrid's investment construction sites; in substation projects in Lavianvuori and Kangasala and in the Tikinmaa-Lavianvuori and Hirvisuo-Kalajoki power line projects.
T3 reporting includes MVR-FGR measurements which measure occupational safety levels, electronic construction site diaries, notifications concerning dangerous situations, notifications of accidents, management review forms and an application to manage the sites' most important documents.T3 reporting is a browser-based application which can be used on any terminal device and operating system. It functions on smart phones, tablets and desktop computers.

"It's great to see that the first real on-site tests went well and we've received positive feedback on the applications. We are going to keep up the good work as we are constantly developing applications which can make T3 reporting an even more user-friendly tool for Fingrid's sites," explains Fredrik Löfberg, CEO at Integround Oy.
