Förberedelse för tillväxt i vindkraftproduktionen med hjälp av Simojoki elstation

I Simo kommun i Lappland byggs en ny elstation genom Fingrids försorg. Genom projektet säkerställs anslutningen av den växande vindkraftsproduktionen i området till stamnätet.

Vindkraftsproduktionen är i kraftig tillväxt i Finland. Tillväxten koncentreras i synnerhet till västra och norra Finland. I landskapet Lappland ligger Simo kommun, där Fingrid nu bygger en ny elstation i Simojoki. Den nya elstationen behövs för att förstärka stamnätet i regionen, där det planeras hundratals megawatt av ny vindkraftproduktion.

Måndagen den 25.11 undertecknade Fingrid Abp ett avtal med Kreate Oy avseende projektets markbyggnadsentreprenad och den 29.11 ett avtal med TMV Service Oy avseende elstationsentreprenaden. Idrifttagningen av Simojoki elstation kommer enligt planerna att ske i november-december 2021.

Faktaruta

Den nya elstationen genomförs i form av ett 110 kV-ställverk. I projektet sker förberedelser för transformering från 400 till 110 kV och ett ställverk för 400 kV som byggs senare. Elstationen kommer att anslutas till stamnätet via en ny 110 kV-förbindelse på gemensamma stolpar. Förbindelsen går från Fingrids nuvarande ledning mellan Isohaara och Isokangas till den nya transformatorstationen. Samtidigt kommer nödvändiga anslutningsledningar från vindkraftsparkerna att anslutas till Simojoki-stationen.
