AIB has suspended all exports from Icelandic EECS-GOs out of Iceland
On 27 April the AIB Board has suspended all exports from Icelandic electricity EECS-GOs out of Iceland following a compliance assessment. Import from other AIB Members to Iceland is still possible.

The recognition of GOs is laid down in the Act on Guarantees of Origin for Energy. As a rule, all GOs issued by EU and EEA countries are recognized in Finland. The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment decides on the recognition of GOs.
No EECS-GOs have been imported into the Finnish GO register directly from the Icelandic register within a year.
