Peak load capacity

The Energy Market Authority has confirmed the power plants selected for the peak load capacity arrangement for the period of 1 October 2011 to 30 June 2013.

The total volume of the capacity is 600 megawatts (MW).

Peak load capacity during period 1 October 2011 - 30 June 2013

The costs for the peak load capacity were 32 746 k€ charged from the main grid customers. During the period the electricity consumption was 143 229 268 MWh. The average peak load capacity fee was 0,229 €/MWh.

The peak load capacity was not started.
