Transmission reliability of Fingrid remained high in 2017

The forced outage and transmission reliability data for the national grid managed by Fingrid for 2017 has been released.

The transmission reliability rate remained very good 99.99969 % but was slightly lower than the 10-year average 99.99979 %. The volume of energy not transmitted due to disturbances amounted to 211 MWh and the calculated economic damage (KAH) was EUR 5.0 million. The average duration of forced interruptions in connection points due to disturbances (SAIDI) was only 2.2 minutes.
