Transparency increased in balancing energy and reserve markets

Fingrid has begun publishing Finnish balancing service provider's balancing energy bids (mFRR) and procured frequency containment reserve for normal operation (FCR-N) hourly market bids on ENTSO-e Transparency Platform according to Commission regulation on establishing a guideline on electricity balancing.

Bid volume (MW) and bid price (€/MWh or €/MW) of individual bids are published. Balancing energy bids are published after the operational hour and FCR-N bids are published after reserve procurement, i.e. at latest after 22 (EET) on previous day.

Balancing energy bids and  FCR-N bids can be viewed on Transparency Platform.
