Fingrid's rating downgraded following downgrade of Finland; outlook stable

On October 14, 2014, Standard & Poor's Rating Services (S&P) downgraded its long term global scale corporate credit rating on Fingrid Oyj to "A+" (outlook stable). The rating action follows downgrade of the Republic of Finland's rating.

The new affirmed S&P ratings are as follows: "A+" on the long term global scale, previously "AA-" and "A-1" on the short term global scale, previously "A-1+". The "K-1" rating on the Nordic regional scale was affirmed unchanged.

The stand-alone credit profile (SACP) that forms the anchor for the rating and which does not take into account any support from the Republic of Finland, remains at "a".
