Load and generation forecasts

The electricity consumption forecast for Finland is based on the measurement data from Fingrid's real time operation control system, and temperature history and forecasts. The calculation of the electricity generation forecast for Finland is based on production plans reported by balance responsible parties to Fingrid.

The electricity consumption and generation forecast graphs are in 15-minute resolution. The horizontal axis shows the hours of the day and the vertical axis shows the power (MW).

This forecast graph is updated continuously. The separate graphs for consumption forecast and generation forecast may differ from this, because they are only updated once a day.
