Suomen sähköjärjestelmän mitoitusvika palautui 865 MW tasolle Olkiluodon vuosihuollossa tehtyjen muutosten jälkeen

Olkiluodon ydinvoimalaitoksen vuosihuollossa 3.-28.5.2009 laitoksilla tehtiin suojausmuutoksia, joiden seurauksena laitoksen käyttäytyminen lähialueen vioissa palautui entiselleen. Muutoksen seurauksena Suomen sähköjärjestelmän mitoitusvika on jälleen 865 MW tasolla, joka vastaa yhden Olkiluodon voimalaitosyksikön tehoa. Laitokset eivät enää pienennä tehoaan lähialueiden oikosulkujen aiheuttamissa jännitekuopissa ellei laitosyksikkö itse ole lähivian kohteena.

Muutoksen seurauksena myös rajoitettuna ollut tuontikapasiteetti on palautettu normaalissa verkkotilanteessa 2050 MW tasolle. Tuontirajoituksen aikana ei syntynyt tästä syystä hinta-aluetunteja.
