Fingrid osakkaaksi Nord Pool Spotiin

(Oslo 2.7.2002) Viisi pohjoismaista järjestelmävastaavaa kantaverkko-organisaatiota sopi eilen 1. heinäkuuta ehdoista, joilla vuoden alussa perustetun Nord Pool Spot AS:n omistusta laajennetaan. Jatkossa sen osakkaita ovat kaikki viisi järjestelmävastaavaa sekä Nord Pool ASA.

Yhtiöiden tehtävät jakaantuvat siten, että Nord Pool Spot AS vastaa fyysisestä sähkökaupasta Pohjoismaissa. Nord Pool ASA huolehtii kaikesta finanssisähkökaupasta sekä fyysisestä sähkökaupasta Pohjoismaiden ulkopuolella. Yhtiöt tekevät tiivistä yhteistyötä, mikä mahdollistaa integroidun markkinapaikan asiakkaille.

Päätös merkitsee, että Nord Pool Spot AS:n omistajiksi tulevat Suomen kantaverkkoyhtiö Fingrid Oyj, ruotsalainen Svenska Kraftnät, norjalainen Statnett sekä Nord Pool ASA kukin 20 %:n osuudella. Lopun 20 % omistavat puoliksi tanskalaiset järjestelmävastaavat, Eltra Länsi-Tanskassa ja Elkraft System Itä-Tanskassa. Järjestely toteutetaan ensi tilassa.

Nord Pool ASA:n omistajina jatkavat edelleen Svenska Kraftnät ja Statnett, kumpikin 50 %:n osuudella.
