Fingridin luottokelpoisuus muuttui AAsta AA miinukseksi

Kansainvälinen luottokelpoisuusyhtiö Standard & Poors's Ratings Services on 19 marraskuuta 1998 lähettänyt seuraavan tiedotteen:

"Standard & Poor's today has lowered its long-term rating of the Finnish national grid, Fingrid Oyj. At the same time the short-term rating of Fingrid is affirmed. These actions, in part, result from the Finnish government's decision to place the state-owned electric utility Imatran Voima Oy (IVO) and Neste under a common holding company structure to create the Fortum group."

"The outlook on the long-term rating of Fingrid is stable."

"OUTLOOK (Fingrid Oyj): Stable. The stable outlook reflects the flexible regulatory regime, which should enable Fingrid to avoid financial difficulties despite a highly leveraged capital structure."
