Jussi Pohjanpalo appointed as CFO of Fingrid

Jussi Pohjanpalo has been appointed as the CFO of Finland’s transmission system operator, Fingrid. He will take up his position on 1 August 2025, and he will be responsible for the company’s finances and treasury.

Jussi Pohjanpalo (born 1975) will assume this position from his role as Fingrid’s Group Treasurer. Pohjanpalo has worked for Fingrid since 2014. His previous employers include KPMG and the Royal Bank of Scotland. He has a Master's degree in Economics.

Fingrid is pleased to have Pohjanpalo's profound knowledge of the energy market, economics, financing, risk management and business development on the Executive Management Group. Fingrid is at the heart of the energy transition, and this calls for adaptability and strong change management capabilities. Pohjanpalo will help to strengthen these capabilities as a member of Fingrid's Executive Management Group.
