The Nordic and Baltic HVAC grid disturbance statistics 2023 have been published

The Nordic and Baltic HVAC grid disturbance statistics 2023 have been published on the ENTSO-E website.

The statistics gives an overview of the grid disturbances, faults, and energy not supplied (ENS) in the Nordic and Baltic 100–420 kV alternating current grids, as well faults of individual components used in the grids.

In 2023, the number of faults occurred in the Nordic and Baltic countries corresponded to the 10-year average, but their impact on customers was lower than average.

In 2023, ENS was only 91 MWh in Finland (10-year average 240 MWh).

The share of the main transmission grid (Fingrid) of ENS was only 33.3 MWh, which was the lowest figure in the entire statistical history of Fingrid since 1998.
