Invitation to Stakeholder seminar on the bidding zone review

On January 20th 2021, the Nordic TSOs invite stakeholders to a digital seminar on the ongoing bidding zone review. The seminar will be held in English.

Fingrid, Svenska kraftnät, Statnett and Energinet invite market participants to a stakeholder seminar on the bidding zone review. The session will focus on the ongoing work as well as on consequences of the ACER (Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators) decision on the methodology for the bidding zone review.

During the meeting we will provide information about the timeline for the bidding zone review process, the main requirements in the methodology to be used to evaluate the alternative bidding zone and the new requirements on locational marginal pricing simulations. We will also inform about opportunities for market participants to influence the process and there will be time for questions.

This is the first of several stakeholder meetings planned for the ongoing bidding zone review. A consultation will be held in 2022.
