Transmission reliability of Fingrid improved in 2016

The forced outage and transmission reliability data for the national grid managed by Fingrid for 2016 has been released. The transmission reliability rate was very good 99.99985 %. The volume of energy not transmitted due to disturbances amounted to 103 MWh and the calculated economic damage (KAH) was EUR 3.1 million. The average duration of forced interruptions in connection points due to disturbances (SAIDI) was only 1.4 minutes. All figures were better in 2016 than in the previous year.
