GO service pricing from 1 January 2016
The issuing price of GO will decrease starting from 1 January 2016 from the current EUR 0.025/MWh to EUR 0.015/MWh. Other GO service prices will remain the same as in 2015.The turnover of the GO service has been higher than anticipated due to unexpectedly large amounts of import and export and the increase in the number of issues caused by the wet hydrological year, for example.
The Energy Authority has confirmed the profit margin of 5.75% as a reasonable profit for the GO service during the review period 1 March 2014 – 31 December 2016. For the above-mentioned reasons, the GO service has this year made excess profit.
We have estimated next year's turnover so that the amounts of energy comply with those in a normal year. Correspondingly, we have estimated foreseeable costs.
If reasonable profit exceeds or falls short of the amount allowed during the review period, the excess or shortfall is transferred to the following period. The excess or shortfall is transferred and taken into account as a decreasing/increasing factor when determining prices for subsequent years.
