Grid network's reliability level in 2013 was very good

The disturbance interruption and transmission reliability data for the grid network managed by Fingrid for 2013 has been released.The transmission reliability rate remained very good: it was 99.99986%. The volume of energy not transmitted amounted to 95 MWh and, according to the preliminary data, the impact of interruptions (KAH) was EUR 2.1 million. The average duration of power outage in connection points due to disturbance interruptions was two and a half minutes.

In general, the key indicators of transmission reliability were slightly better than the average figures for the past ten years.
