Market Participants Interested in Electricity Transmission Capacity from Russia

The electricity transmission capacity offered by Fingrid, the Finnish transmission system operator, to electricity market participants through its cross-border connections from Russia has raised great interest. By the due date 4000-5500 megawatts (MW) of transmission reservations were submitted, amount of which clearly exceeds the available commercial capacity of the connections 1300 MW.
Fingrid offers capacity on the transmission connections from Russia for electricity import purposes to electricity market parties at equal, uniform and public principles.
