Estlink in test operation: The power and direction in the cable can be followed on Fingrid’s Internet site

The Estlink cable connection between Finland and Estonia is presently in test operation. The power and direction in the cable can now be followed on the “State of power system” screen, available on Fingrid’s Internet pages at www.fingrid.fi.  The display is updated every three minutes.The cable is the first link between the Baltic countries and the Nordic electricity market. The length of the cable is 105 kilometres, 75 kilometres of which is sea cable. Estlink is in test operation until the end of November.
