Transmission capacity can be reserved on Fingrid's cross-border connections from Russia

Fingrid, the Finnish transmission system operator, offers to the electricity market parties electricity transmission  capacity on its cross-border connections from Russia. Total of 900 megawatts (MW) of transmission capacity will be released on these connection for reservation at equal service and price terms.The binding transmission reservations for contract periods starting at the beginning of the year 2006 must be submitted to Fingrid by 11 November 2005. The contract periods can range from one to ten years, and the smallest unit that can be reserved is 50 MW.
