Webinar on Market Surveillance in Reserve Markets
Fingrid will organize a webinar on the REMIT Regulation and market surveillance in reserve markets on December 4th from 13:00 to 14:00. The webinar is intended for reserve market participants and other interested experts.
The webinar will cover the REMIT Regulation and its obligations for market participants, as well as the role and practices of market surveillance. The webinar is organized together with market surveillance experts from Nord Pool and will be held in English. At the end of the webinar, there will be an opportunity to ask questions. Questions should be submitted in advance to market.surveillanc(at)fingrid.fi.
REMIT (Regulation on Wholesale Energy Market Integrity and Transparency) is an EU regulation aimed at preventing market abuse and increasing transparency in wholesale energy markets. The regulation imposes obligations on all parties operating in energy markets. Based on the regulation, Fingrid is required to establish and maintain effective market surveillance.
