Fingrid’s CFO Jukka Metsälä has resigned

Fingrid Oyj’s Chief Financial Officer, M.Sc., MBA Jukka Metsälä has given notice that he will be stepping down from his role in the company. His last day on the job is 31 July 2025. Metsälä will become Managing Director of CableCrew Oy as of 1 August 2025.

Jukka Metsälä has worked for Fingrid in two separate stages, and for the past three years he has been a member of the Executive Management Team as CFO.

“It has been a privilege to participate in the development of Fingrid’s operations in a rapidly changing operating environment and to be involved in building the energy system of the future together with Fingrid’s top experts, customers, financiers and other key stakeholders. I would like to thank all parties for their excellent cooperation,” Metsälä says.

“I would like to thank Metsälä for his excellent work for the company. Jukka has made a significant contribution to the financing of the company’s investment. I wish him every success in his new challenges,” says Fingrid’s CEO Asta Sihvonen-Punkka.

The search process to find his successor will be initiated as soon as possible.
