Consultation on changes to the terms and conditions of Reserve Suppliers and Balance Responsible Parties 05/2025

Fingrid has prepared changes to the terms and conditions of Reserve Suppliers (aFRR, FCR, FFR and mFRR) and Balance Responsible Parties. Fingrid is launching a public consultation with stakeholders on the content of the terms and conditions and is requesting free feedback on the prevailing practices. The update aims to clarify the current terms and conditions and to present changes to the requirements to ensure the security of the electricity system and the operation of electricity trade in all situations. Most significant changes, with their justifications and the schedules for the changes, are presented in a summary in the accompanying background document (see below). Official documents (contract appendixes) under consultation can be found in the Finnish language version of this news publication.

Statements are requested to be submitted in writing to Fingrid by 12.6.2025 by email to verkkosaannot[at]fingrid.fi, with the subject “BSP-BRP konsultaatio 05/2025”. The attached statement template form can be used to provide statements.

In addition, Fingrid will organize a webinar on the consultation on 15 May 2025 at 9-10 am, link to participate >. Language of the webinar will be Finnish, slides will be provided also after.
