Finnish-Russian cross-border tariffs

The costs caused by Finnish-Russian 400 kV cross border trade were 20,6 M€ from the beginning of the regulation period (1.1.2016), while the tariff income under the same period was 22,6 M€, both without so called ITC-perimeter fee. The key driver for the excess tariff income was (2,0 M€) the higher than forecasted Finnish area electricity market price.
Respectively, the costs caused by the Finnish-Russian 110 kV cross border trade were 1,7 M€ from the beginning of the regulation period (1.1.2016) and the tariff income under the same period was 1,4 M€, both without so called ITC-perimeter fee.

Fingrid aims to even out the costs caused by 400 kV ja 110 kV cross border trade with the tariff income during the regulation period 2016-2019.
