Electricity transmission with Russia
The electricity model in Russia differs greatly from the Nordic market model. Russian market model is based on nodal pricing, which means that the price of electricity is calculated separately on each node.

A study about dynamic transmission tariff was carried out by SKM Market Predictor during spring 2015. The purpose of the study was to investigate the introduction of a dynamic tariff mechanism for the cross-border exchange between Finland and Russia. The study was funded by Fingrid.
