Peak load capacity 2017

The peak load capacity actual costs were 1,832 M€ charged from the main grid customers and respectively electricity consumption was 22 909 626 MWh during the payment period from 1 January to 31 March in 2017. The calculated peak load capacity fee is 0,080 €/MWh.

The peak load capacity was not started during this period.

4-6/2017

The peak load capacity actual costs were 1,706 M€ charged from the main grid customers and respectively electricity consumption was  18 506 756 MWh during the payment period from 1 April to 30 June in 2017. The calculated peak load capacity fee is 0,092 €/MWh.

The peak load capacity was not started during this period. The demand response unit Suomenoja heat pump was partly unavailable for the peak load arrangement during the winter period. Therefore the compensation paid to the Suomenoja heat pump was reduced by about 9 per cent. 

December 2017

The peak load capacity costs for the grid service customers were 4,71 M€. The costs are charged according to the consumption of electricity during weekdays and during the day-time hours 7.00 a.m. - 9.00 p.m. The electricity consumption was 3 212 195 MWh, which is equal to the grid service winter weekday daytime consumption invoiced. The calculated peak load capacity fee is 1,465 €/MWh.

The peak load capacity was not started in December. The demand response unit Suomenoja heat pump was partly unavailable for the peak load arrangement. Finextra reduced the compensation paid to the Suomenoja heat pump by about 10 per cent. As defined in the Rules of Use, the Energy Authority will make the final decision in this issue.
