Power Transmission Services on Fingrid's Nordic Connections
Through the transmission services on the Nordic cross-border connections actors have a possibility to participate to the Nordic Elspot and Elbas exchange trading. For the exchange trading in the Nordic market area a party needs no separate transmission agreement.
Power transmission on Russian connections
Fingrid offers its transmission connections from Russia available to all electricity market parties for import purposes at equal, uniform and public principles.
Transmission services on Estonian interconnection
Estlink, the new sea cable between Finland and Estonia became operative in the beginning of 2007. The interconnection is 350 megawatts and power can be transmitted over the link in both directions.
