Electricity consumption forecast in Finland is based on the measurement data of Fingrid's real time operation control system, temperature history and forecasts. The forecast for the next day is completed before 10 am. The forecast is updated as the need arises.

Electricity generation forecast in Finland is based on balance providers production plans reported to Fingrid.

The graphs of consumption and generation forecast are drawn with hourly values.

On the horizontal axis are presented the hours of the day and on the vertical axis the energy (MW).
