Production imbalance power is calculated as follows: Balance deviation in production imbalance = Balance responsible party's actual production – Balance responsible party's total production plan + power transactions in production imbalance

Negative imbalance implies that Fingrid sells balance power to the balance responsible party and vice versa.

Consumption imbalance power is calculated as follows: Balance deviation in consumption imbalance = Balance responsible party's total production plan+ fixed deliveries + measured deliveries (actual consumption) + power transactions in consumption imbalance

Electric energy used for covering the difference between actual power consumption/sales and production/purchase of a party during an hour. Through mutual trade in imbalance power, Fingrid balances the power production/purchase and consumption/sales of a balance responsible party to equilibrium. The volume of imbalance power is determined on the basis of the national imbalance settlement.

Data gathering to Excel-sheet or XML format is possible in periods not longer that one year due to limitations in data transmission.
